Dagong Global Credit Rating has revealed an international ranking of neobanks.

Neobank – The prefix neo in the new time period „neobank” in Greek means „new” (from the Greek neos new), i.e. neobanks are upgraded and modernised banks, often modernised with fashionable performance and forms of communication and data switch including fundamental components like internet (websites, offices) and cell financial institution (apps, messaging, cellphone management).

The rating consists of solely full-fledged banks operating under banking licenses and under full management of hyperregulators. Payment systems and organisations operating under payment operators’ licences are not included in the ranking.
